How to Build a Wedding Website-Introduction

In part 1 we looked at how to build the site using the free hosted WordPress on wordpress.com.

Although it is possible to use the free solution for your site it has limitations that make it far from the ideal choice.

Now we are going to look at how to build a self hosted WordPress site, and although the initial stages are very similar we will be covering more detail and adding more functionality.

I have only planned the initial part of the case study and will develop it in response to feedback (form below).

Also Note that to avoid duplicating content in the case studies I have put together a short WordPress Basics Course which includes installation, logging on etc

We are going to cover the following:

1. Choosing a Domain Name and host.
2. Choosing the blog theme
3. Initial setup
4. Site Layout
