Website ranking is about your position in the search engine results for a particular keyword. Search engine optimisation is about making a Website/Web pages with a high search engine ranking/position - (first 30 results) on the search engine results Page (SERPs). Why is Your Web site Search Engine Ranking/Position Important?Your ranking or position for a particular keyword in the
search engine results pages (SERPS) is what determines whether or not you receive visitors from the search engines. It is generally accepted that if your search engine ranking isn't in the top 30 search results for a particular keyword then as far as the search engines are concerned you don’t exist for that keyword. They are however expensive and I would only recommend to someone who need to check multiple websites for keyword ranking-like professional web designers.
