Buy Now Buttons and Forms 

These are simple icons, usually, but not necessary, buttons which are links to an order form or payment site. The buttons themselves are plain HTML and hence your web server doesn’t require scripting support or need to be secure.

The main use of these is in selling a small number of products or subscriptions as each product normally has its own order form. In Order to order multiple products through one form the customer has to enter the products manually onto the form and calculate the total costs themselves.

Advantages

Buy now buttons are an ideal method for small sites selling only a few products as they only involve very basic HTML skills and don’t cost anything.

Disadvantages

Not suitable to large sites with many products and product variations i.e. different colours sizes etc as the customer usually has to fill out multiple order forms.

For most people these are all they will need. Buy now buttons like those provided by PayPal and StormPay also incorporate credit card processing and order tracking etc and so there is nothing else to do (see PayPal Review ) .

If using online order forms, like those from Formhosts, then these also use PayPal or equivalent for credit card processing, and so it is simply a matter of registering with both companies and you can start selling online.
