1and1 HostingIf you've purchased a 1&1-UK hosting package then this section of the site will take you through the main feature of the package and how you use them. We will start by looking at the login process. To login go to the 1and1 home page and select the control panel login.
To login to the control panel select customer login and you will be presented with a username/password login box.
You are automatically placed in the administration section of the control panel. This is where you will do most of your work. There are two other sections the account section where you can manage your account like setting your password, changing contact details, payment methods etc and the other is the shop where you can add new features to your account.
The administration section is divided into several sections but the main two that you will be using are the basic settings:
Where you can manage your domains and email accounts. The webspace and access section where you can manage your MySQL databases, ftp accounts and also manage files directly on the server using the webspaceexplorer.
You can login using either your account number or domain name. You can also install use the 1and1 easy login taskbar but I find it easier using the browser. However if you are managing multiple accounts then it will make life much easier. Don't forget to make a note of you account number and password and store them securely. Articles and Tutorials
